SCDJC Standing Committees

Issues and Values – Determines the position of the Caucus on important issues, develops position papers and meets with candidates to educate them on the Jewish Democratic viewpoint.

Communications Committee –  Develops and oversees the Caucus’ social media presence and website. This committee also handles public relations, press statements and any public communications of the Caucus.

Programming Committee – Handles planning meetings and events of the Caucus as well as developing the logistics for these events, including staffing, refreshments, etc.

Membership Committee – Keeps records of applications, membership rolls, dues and promotes expansion of the membership.

Finance and Fundraising – Develops an annual budget and fundraising plans. It also provides oversight of the treasury.

Nominating Committee – Develops an annual slate of proposed officers for presentation to the Board and General membership at least one month prior to the annual election of officers.
