What’s on the line for us as Jewish Democrats in Southwest Florida? What's next in the school board battles? Join like-minded folks and our special guests for light bites, soft drinks and cash bar, while raising some funds for the operation of the SCDP Jewish Caucus.
We will also vote as a caucus on changing our name to Sarasota-Manatee Democratic Party Jewish Caucus as we look to bring Manatee County Jews into our caucus.
Special Guest: Tom Edwards
Tom is a current Sarasota County School Board Member, running for re-election. He will speak about the state of education in our county and how the battle lines are shaping up in the next academic year. Tom is 1 of 5 members that oversees a school system of 43,000 students and is the only Democrat on the board. He is also a member of our caucus. You can donate to his campaign here

Daniel Kuether is the Chair of the Sarasota County Democratic Party. He will speak about the latest developments with the party and what we can do to help.
